Statistics that support better photo coverage

The National Safety Council reports, based on CPSC NEISS data, that the home, structures and construction category was associated with 4,491,936 emergency department-treated injuries in 2024. Stairs, ramps, landings, and floors accounted for 3,101,789 of those injuries.

1. Sort photos before drafting

2. Add notes that photos cannot prove

Photos rarely prove age, load rating, hidden moisture, wiring method, or whether a system was energized. Add inspector notes for measurements, test results, access limits, weather, and client statements.

Do not infer: code edition, permit status, cause of damage, or hidden structural capacity from a single photo. Use "further evaluation" when evidence is limited.

3. Draft findings with a repeatable format
